Class Attire

General Notes:  All tights are to be worn fully footed and under leotard, except as noted in the Lyrical Dance classes.  Ballet slippers are to be leather.

RECREATIONAL AND TEEN/ADULT CLASSES

Boys:  White dance (fitted) t-shirt, black shorts, jazz pants, tights or leggings with black or white socks and black leather ballet shoes.

Pre-Ballet and Creative Dance Classes: Pink leotards, pink tights and pink leather ballet slippers. Short skirts can be worn. Please, no tutus or long skirts!    

Children's Ballet Classes: Pink leotards, pink tights and pink leather ballet slippers. No skirts are to be worn.

Tap and Ballet/Tap Classes: Solid colored leotard. Pink tights and pink leather ballet slippers for Combination Classes. Black tap shoes.

Lyrical Jazz/Contemporary Dance Classes:  Solid colored leotard with footless tights or leggings. No baggy clothes or crop tops.

Teen & Adult Ballet Classes: Solid color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Leggings can be worn by adults if OK with Instructor.

Art of Classical Ballet Levels

Boys/Men: White fitted t-shirt, dance belt, black tights with black ballet shoes.

Beginning Level I/II: Light blue leotard, pink tights & pink leather ballet slippers.

Apprentice I: Lavender leotard, pink tights and pink leather ballet slippers.  Pre-pointe shoes with permission of Instructor.

Apprentice II:  Navy Blue leotard, pink tights and pink leather ballet slippers.  Pre-pointe or Pointe shoes with permission of Instructor.

Corps: Red leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers and pointe shoes. Short matching skirts can be worn for Pointe class.

Company: Black Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and pointe shoes. Short matching skirts can be worn for Pointe class.

Hair (All Classes)

Hair must be in a neat bun, no wispies or bangs, for all ballet classes, including the “Art of Classical Ballet”. Students in Floor Barre and Contemporary Dance classes can wear hair in a pony tail. Hair needs to be off the face and neck for all classes. If your hair is too short to get into a bun, you can wear a pony tail and/or secure hairband to keep hair off face and neck.

Please, no jewelry in class. We encourage dancers to bring a water bottle to class with your name on it.
