Art of Classical Ballet Program

This is a year-round program from August -May with Special Summer Workshops. We have a 2 week August Ballet Intensive that is mandatory for all students who have been part of the program and want to be considered for advanced placement in the Fall. New students can be assessed at the first class of the session. Please check the classes listed on the schedule below.

Our Art Level students get the change to be a part of Regional Dance America. We participate in a regional performing festival each year. The mission of RDA is to elevate the future of dance in America giving dancers experience and directors perspective. RDA was founded in 1988 to further promote the artistic development of dance companies throughout the United States. Its prime purpose is to decentralize dance in America by fostering quality at all levels of development in order to provide pre-professional performance opportunities for dancers and audiences throughout all North American communities. This is a great opportunity for our dancers, especially from such a rural community as ours, to learn from nationally acclaimed Master Teachers in all styles of dance, with the potential to receive scholarships to prestigious dance programs and colleges/universities from throughout the country.

We ask that all who are not already currently placed into an ‘Art Level’ class be attend a recreation class for the age of your child. As stated above, we do placement annually in August. For other questions, please call the office and we are happy to help. We do offer limited partial scholarships.
